Description

A wooden shield shaped plaque with an enameled disc featuring a shield surrounded by 'Royal New South Wales Bowling Association" and a ribbon below with "founded 1880".

The disc features a shield with a blue field with a silver cross voided red with a gold star on each arm of the red cross and a gold lion in the centre. There is a golden fleece and a wheat sheaf. The crest is a rising sun, on a wreath of blue and silver.

There is a lion on the left and a kangaroo on the right. They are depicted standing upon the motto ribbon.

The motto contains the Latin inscription "Orta recens quam pura nites" which, in English, means "Newly risen, how brightly you shine".

A rectangular silver coloured plaque below features "Presented by the Royal New Zealand Bowling Association August 1989".

Below this is a small badge.
