Trophy, cup

Very tall and narrow cup that tappers to a narrow stem. There are torpedo shaped handles on each side. The top of the cup flares in a beehive shape towards the lid, which is cone-shaped with a knob on the top. The base is black bakelite. The front is engraved with "Colthurst Memorial Trophy Presented by Mr Mrs J.H. Colthurst 1958-59 for VETERANS FOURS". There is a central oval shape with a border featuring "WOMEN'S BOWLING CENTRE AUCKLAND" and a central coat of arms featuring two kiwis, a crown and a banner with "ADVANCE". The reverse is engraved with the names of previous trophy holders.

Poor, the left hand handle is broken in one point where it joins the cup.
