Carrier is square shaped the main body uses 1 piece of leather (possibly re-purposed) the sides are sewn on by machine the central insert is hand stitched

Bowls are Thomas Taylor the engraving looks to have been done by 2 different engravers view 2018-0215.2a and 2018-0125.2b
The bowls have the initials S J D engraved in the bone/Ivory insert .
have (DBA NZBA ) and (NBA A&co) stamped into the small disc side

This set of lawn bowls where used and owned by Sigvard Jacob Dannefaerd (Jeweler) born 1853 Denmark, arrived in New Zealand 1875, died 1920 played bowls in Auckland and Rotorua being president of the Rotorua Bowling Club 1913
