Plaque is mounted in a blue velvet box which also works as the stand for the plaque which hinged at the top both lids have a yellow braid encircling the sides half way down. The plaque is a red stained timber on which is a resin coated sheet which covers the front face of the wooden part of the plaque on the sheet is a framing boarder of black with gold tone scrolling vines with in this boarder is in the top portion of the plaque is the logo for Brunei Daraussalamin red on a yellow back ground is the flag attached to the Royal umbrella which in turn is standing on the wings which is standing with in the crescent moon which has the Islamic characters inscribed “always in service with gods guidance”the scroll beneath the crescent moon also has Islamic characters “Brunei, the abode of peace” on either side of the crescent is a hand reaching up encircling this crest is 3 rows of stylised laural leaves in green with a yellow banner with Brunei Darussalam etched into it below this is black writing in both English Islamic and Islamic characters
